Main Job Summary

To support the operation of Sales and Marketing. Supporting Sales Account Managers and the co-ordination of Marketing operational activity.

Main Duties & Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

To support the Internal Account Manager in the following areas:

Sales Operations

  • Prepare sales quotes as required and directed by the sales team
  • Support Sales Team with client enquiries, including phone calls, emails and development of proposal documents
  • Ensure any Sales Team queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner
  • Attend industry networking events to further develop market knowledge and develop business relationships
  • Support in the delivery of the tender process for all tenders and ensure a timely delivery and work collaboratively with project/tender teams
  • Coordinate and minute tender project meetings as required and track and drive actions where necessary
  • Work with colleagues, customers and teams to communicate risks and ensure that any learning is made known to the wider team
  • Complete framework reporting and MI for clients as required
  • Manage the CRM system to a high degree of accuracy to ensure it is up-to-date and regularly cleansed to ensure effective targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of products and services i.e. be able to answer clients’ questions to their fullest satisfaction and be able to sell key differentiators
  • Attend meetings with the Sales Team to update information and discuss any issues
  • Submit weekly reports of all activity and status for the purposes of Operations meetings
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement

Marketing Operations

  • To act as the main point of contact for our external marketing agency and providing all information required
  • Respond to and direct all incoming sales enquiries generated from our website and marketing collateral to the appropriate sales representative
  • Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product knowledge
  • Evaluate market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plans as required
  • Co-ordinate marketing campaigns in line with sales activities
  • Assist in creation and publishing of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Contribute to improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results
  • Work closely with design agencies
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with all internal departments ensuring that departmental marketing requirements are met, with a specific focus on sales

  • Previous marketing experience or relevant qualification would be desirable

Education:

Essential:

Minimum GCSE pass or equivalent in Maths and English

Other Role Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years UK residency
  • Full driving license
  • Satisfactorily pass pre-hire and annual security clearance procedures in accordance with the ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers) National Vetting Scheme.
