  • We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with a minimum of five years’ experience in selling complex cybersecurity solutions, including penetration testing and incident response.
  • In this role, you will play a key part in advancing CCL’s position in the private and public sectors.
  • Collaborating closely with key decision makers, you will drive business development initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and identify opportunities to enhance market presence and achieve growth.

  • Educate prospective customers in their initial interactions with CCL, making a great first impression and laying the foundation for long-term relationships.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and qualify potential customers through phone calls, emails, social media, and other creative methods.
  • Research and identify key decision-makers within target accounts, coordinating with your assigned sales team.
  • Design and execute comprehensive business development and marketing strategies to support growth in both the private and public sectors.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of pitches, proposals, and presentations, ensuring messaging is tailored and impactful for potential clients.
  • Identify relevant client issues and market trends, proposing topics for campaigns and fostering meaningful client dialogues.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospecting activities and manage leads in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximize opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and our product offerings to effectively communicate value propositions to prospects.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
Required Skill Set & Experience:

  • 5 + years’ experience in Cyber Security sales development.
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue in excess of £1,000,000.00 per annum.
  • A competitive, results-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
  • A tenacious individual who isn’t afraid to take initiative and handle rejection.
  • Proven track record of success in cold calling C-level executives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage prospects.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Experience with account planning and persona mapping.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
  • A team player with a collaborative approach and a willingness to support colleagues.
  • An interest in cybersecurity and a passion for relationship building and collaboration.

Education:

  • Minimum GCSE pass or equivalent in Maths and English

Other Role Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years UK residency.
  • Satisfactorily pass pre-hire and annual security clearance procedures in accordance with the ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers) National Vetting Scheme.
